This beautiful starfish painting is created on a 8x8 canvas panel set into a stained navy floating wood frame. It features a beautiful coastal color scheme and three dimensional texture added with embedded seed beads, vintage German glass glitter, ultrafine glitter and authentic Newfoundland sea glass.
The starfish story text reads:
"As an old man walked the beach
he saw a boy picking up starfish and
tossing them into the sea.
He asked the boy "why?"
The boy answered that the starfish 
would die if left stranded on the beach.
Confused, the old man said
"But the beach goes on for miles
and there are thousands of starfish.
You can't possibly make a difference."
The boy looked at the starfish in his hand,
tossed it into the ocean, and said
"made a difference for that one."
